The saw has an electric brake – not just as a safety device, but also as a feature that allows you to move quickly from one cut to the next. There’s a large view window so you can cut easily along the cut line.
The saw is cordless, powered by a Lithium-ion battery, which makes it lightweight yet powerful. Plus, the battery delivers 18 V from the same weight as a 12 V Ni-MH or Ni-Cad equivalent and gives up to 430% greater run time. Lithium batteries are also 40% lighter. This weight saving means a Lithium-ion battery weighing the same as a 12 V Ni-MH battery delivers 18 V power.
